The Adaptation Communication Drafting Assistance Tool (AdComm-DAT) provides a comprehensive step-by-step guide for countries to draft their adaptation communication in an online and / or offline environment tailored to the specific needs of the country.
The AdComm-DAT provides practitioners and decision-makers with a structure along the proposed elements of an adjustment notice contained in Decision 9 / CMA.1 of the Paris Rulebook. The non-binding template can be filled with information on existing national legal frameworks, impact and risks, national adjustment priorities and needs for support. In combination with the communication of planned adaptation measures and plans, the tool also contains a section on gender-equitable adaptation measures, traditional knowledge and knowledge about indigenous peoples.
