Social media in development cooperation: data monitoring, user-centered approaches and building communities

Social media

On November 11 and 12, 2020, the “Virtual Get-Together for Consultants working with the Department Methods, Digital Transformation, Innovation within the Sectoral Department (FMB) of GIZ” took place.

The annual get-together provides GIZ consultants with information on current topics and trends, but also enables the department and its advisors to exchange ideas.

Karsten Luc from AKRYL gave a presentation on “Social media in development cooperation: data monitoring, user-centered approaches and building communities”. He presented use cases of how social media data monitoring can play a critical role in supporting development cooperation projects.

All in all, these were two very inspiring days and we would like to thank GIZ for organizing and inviting us to this great event.
