Transparency is one of the cornerstones of international cooperation. It builds trust with partners as well as the public and makes effective collaboration possible. With the Tracker of Climate Strategies for Transport, you get access to detailed information about the many ways transport is included in Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and Long-Term Strategies to fight climate change internationally. The tracker has been designed thus so that you can either get an overview or engage in custom comparison between climate policies, their parameters, means of implementation, and many other factors. This way, everybody can get a clear picture of how we mitigate climate change by decarbonising the transport sector.

The Tracker of Climate Strategies for Transport was developed by the SLOCAT Partnership on Sustainable, Low Carbon Transport and the Advancing Transport Climate Strategies in Rapidly Motorising Countries (TraCS) project that is implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and financed by the International Climate Initiative (IKI) of the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection.

AKRYL support the project to further design and develop the NDC Tracker.
