As COP26 is in full swing, expectations are high for national governments to step up their ambitions and stay on course in the fight against climate change. Alongside more ambitious emissions reduction targets, there is also an urgent need to improve solutions for adapting to climate change in order to build and maintain resilience in every community around the world.
Together with GIZ, AKRYL launched the updated version of the web-based Adaptation Assessment Assessment Tool in the NDCs (TAAN) this week. TAAN aims to give stakeholders and parties a detailed overview of the adaptation content contained in the NDCs.
