The Alliance for Product Quality in Africa is a project commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and the physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB). The project aims to enhance Africa’s role as an exporter on the international market. It focuses on countries such as Tunisia, Ghana, and Ethiopia.
Teaming up with European companies, the Alliance works on improving the quality of African products to fit the requirements of international importers. As a result, production in Africa is increased, additional jobs are created, and incomes and working conditions are improved.
Our mission was to create two videos focusing on the Alliance’s work in Ghana and Ruanda. The videos included interviews, recordings of the production sites as well as animations and other visual elements. Working closely with the different stakeholders, our video production team created engaging clips showcasing highlights of the work, explaining the context, and giving a voice to the principal actors.
